Description: Parcel data is generated from shapes created and updated by the Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) and the Collin County Appraisal District (CCAD). The shapes are then joined to AS400 parcel data using the CAD ID of each parcel. This is an automated update which occurs nightly. The parcels contain a large amount of data such as owner information, utility information such as move in date, year of structure, square footage, etc.Parcels with multiple ownership, such as condominiums, show first owner of record only.

Description: Address Point data was derived from the following sources: 1. Converting exisiting parcels to their centroids 2. Sub Addresses were individually created for all units within apartment complexes, condominums, duplexes, etc. from various sources (apartment maps, field verification, etc.) 3. "Street Block" points (ex. 1200 Huntington). These were created to improve geocoding when using estimated addresses (ex. PD, who might estimate an incident address to the nearest block). 4. Addresses outside of Richardson - included for PD. These were generated from a 911 file so that specific out-of-city addresses could be geocoded. 5. Address points continue to be added manually as new developments are built or new types of addresses need to be included. *Please note that this layer is not synchronized to any master address list in the AS400.
