Description: This feature class was created over the summer of 2016 by a GIS Intern and it is updated on demand. It can be used to analyze walkability within Richardson.The attribute table contains information about the width and street name parallel to the sidewalk. There is also a Sidewalk Type field which contains: Commercial, Residential, Social Trail (areas where the grass has been worn down by pedestrian traffic, but there's no existing sidewalk), Street Connector, Street Connector with Crosswalk, Trail Multi-Use, Trail Multi-Use Connector, Trail Walking, Trail Walking Connector. The connectors are not sidewalks but places where the network crosses a street. The Pavement feature class was last updated in October 2013 using 4" resolution Orthophotos from 2012 Pictometry.School parcels extracted from parcel file. This is a static layer. It is not updated dynamically like the parcel file. Please refer to primary parcel file (parcel_py in the Landbase folder) to verify currency.LGM Description: Polygons that represent the boundary or management area for significant facilities in a community. Examples include schools, government facilities, stadiums, casinos, and fire stations. Additional information about each Facility can be organized in to seperate tables and related to these locations using the FacilityID key. The feature classification and type schema for the facility sites grew out of work with the Department of Homeland Security s HSIP Program and has evolved to support a diverse set of facilities inventoried for a variety of uses by a local government.metadata edited 08/2014
